I was born in Tokyo in 1984 and brought up there. I got a radio license in 1996 when I was 12 years old. I joined the radio club of a junior high school and my first QSO was in a contest! From that moment I was hooked on contests. However, I couldn’t obtain a good result and often thought I should have a better location. In 2003, I bought a car and drove to some mountains, field-day style. My contest mode is SO2R with mono-band antennas on 10 meter high poles. In quest of a good location, I climbed Mt. Fuji in 2007. I shouldered a heavy load by myself: generator, rig, antenna, etc. (total weight approximately 100 Kg). With a lot of hard work, I reached the best location. In the JA domestic major contest, I got the champion belt five times. I won a lot of other contests, too, and I set some new records there. In 2007, I joined JI2ZJS where I enjoyed major DX contests. I was also a member of AH0BT from 2008 to 2011 where I enjoyed WW DX SSB, WW DX CW and more.
In 2014, I finally take on WRTC! It’s very hard for me, but I will do my best.
