My first license was ZZ2RAF (extinct class D). In 1998 I was promoted to C class, with PU2WIF call. In 2001 I went to the class A, after a year class B, with the call today PY2NDX. Since small liked CW, and seeing my father PY2EYE and my brother PY2YU was easy to learn and enjoy this hobby. I really like contest and DX. My first world title came when I was just 15 years old, I won the 40m WPX CW in 2000, operating from the house of my friend Vitor PY2NY .

I like adventures, DXpeditions, etc. Last year, I was invited to join the great team XZ1J. It was an experience that will always be in my memories.

I am married two years ago with my wife Vaniele. I’m with her 10 since years ago. I have a son John Peter, 8 years old, and already knows CW (hopefully follow our hobby). I am currently in college studying business processes.

Thanks to the Araucaria DX Group for making it possible my going to WRTC2014. Special thanks to friend Atilano PY5EG, and finally my brother Tom PY2YU, for choosing me to do the double Brazilian next WRTC.

I look forward to WRTC2014. It will be my first visit to North America. I’m going for the third consecutive WRTC. This time a special reason, I do duo with my brother PY2YU.
