Introduced to ham radio by my dad (DL9OT SK), I learned CW at age 14 and was active as SWL until I was licensed at age 16. Contesting ever since with high priority on CW.
Member of Bavarian Contest Club since 1988. Active at SG Stern Club Station DM0B at Mercedes-Benz plant Rastatt since 1999. I like to travel and met many fine hams around the world. Although I have been contesting for many years, being part of WRTC2014 is a new and exceptional challenge for me. Preparing everything and building new equipment to optimize our WRTC station is sophisticated but also a lot of fun. I am looking forward to a high class competition and to meet all the contesters there. I’m sure this will be the apogee of my ham career.
