OE3DIA Ivan Dobrocky
I have been active in amateur radio since entering the club station OK3KFO back in 1976. I got my first license at the age of 16 and initially I was an active member of different club stations in Slovakia. Then we moved to Vienna, Austria in 1996. First I had a small station in the city center not suitable for serious contesting so I concentrated my effort on DXpeditions during my summer or winter vacations. I had the privilege to join the OM8A contest team in 2004. In 2009 I started to build my own station in Austria. Since 2010 I have been enjoying contesting call OE3K. My favorite single op category is all bands. My favorite contests are RDXC, IOTA and WPX.
I am a medical doctor specialized in radiology, since 2004 exclusively as interventional radiologist. I opened my own institute for minimally invasive therapy in Vienna.
I am looking forward to meet all the contesters that I have been meeting in contests for many years in person.
