2013 Station Test Results

The WRTC2014 Station Test was a complete success.  Over 120 volunteers came together to construct 25 stations in one day. The operating teams all kept the stations on the air for the contest period. The live scoreboard provided regular updates of how everyone was doing.

Work Party to Prepare Station Kits

There was a work party yesterday at the “south warehouse” to assemble 15 station kits in preparation for the 2013 Station Test this coming weekend. Participants were K1DG, KE1J, W1KM, W1UE, W1MA, AA1V, and KM3T.

Custom WRTC Logo Shirts with Call Sign

The WRTC Gear Store now offers shirts with the WRTC logo customized to include your call sign. Both t-shirts and polo shirts are available with logo and call sign. Tower Preparation Session

A group got together on June 30 at the WRTC2014 “north warehouse” to do some prep work on the tower sections to be used in the upcoming station test. Participants were W1KM, K2TE, N1YX, N9NC, KD1LE, N1SV, AB1xx (Sid), K1EP, and K1RX.

Team Village Sponsorship Available

WRTC2014 is seeking help from clubs and individuals to support their selected teams in the team village. A contribution of $1000 will help us fund the hotel and meal costs for a team and their referee. This is a great way to show support for a team from your qualifying region!

WRTC2014 at Friedrichshafen

WRTC2014 will be represented at the Friedrichshafen International Exhibition for Radio Amateurs June 28-30 by Chairman, Doug Grant, K1DG. K3LP and AI6V Help WRTC2014

WRTC Volunteer Training Session

The WRTC2014 Organizing Committee and the Yankee Clipper Contest Club will conduct a joint meeting in Milford, MA on June 1, 2013.
