I started my way in ham radio in 1974. From the beginning I was involved in contesting and liked it very much. In 1981 I happened to take part in the first USSR WRTC-style contest sponsored by “RADIO” magazine. We used a homemade rig, paper log and hand keyer. Since that time I worked many contests of WRTC-style in former USSR and later on in Russia. In big contests I work in the team P33W in Cyprus and RT4F at home.
It will be my second WRTC. I am pleased again to be a team mate of Andy, UA3DPX. I look forward to see the best op’s from all over the world coming to take part in the Olympics of Ham radio.
